The Turner barn project was successfully completed in May 2007.
Thanks to everyone in the Mad River Valley community and beyond who
helped assure that this farm will be here for generations to come!

Calf
Replacement Fund
The insurance adjuster told the
Turners that their insurance
will cover the replacement of the Heifers,
but not their unborn calves. Because the dairy is not yet
certified organic, if they do receive compensation for the
heifers, it will be for the price of conventional animals and
not certified organic animals.
The United Church of Christ
of Waitsfield and the Warren United Church collected donations
for Calf replacement. Thank you everyone who made
donations! This effort raised over $6000 to help the
Turners rebuild their herd.
