Please plan to attend Chicken Event II, A Public Act
of Civil Celebration next Friday at American Flatbread.
You do not have to eat dinner at Flatbread to take part
in the celebration which will start promptly at 7pm on
the back porch of Lareau Farm.
We will have a program of speakers including many
of the legislators who were involved in the lawmaking
process. This is your chance to thank them in person!
A limited edition t-shirt commemorating the event
with Keith Davidson's political cartoon of the the
chicken crossing the road will be sold. Only 100
t-shirts will be available - first-come first-served.
T-shirt sales benefit Rural Vermont and the MRV
Localvores.
If you will not be able to make it to the chicken
event, but would still like a t-shirt, click here to
order on-line.

Farmers - Rural Vermont will have information
on what you need to do in order to sell your chicken to
local restaurants and at Farmer's Markets.
Chicken Lovers - The Mad River Valley
Localvores will have an information sheet on how to work
with a whole farm fresh chicken along with some great
recipes.
Bring lawn chairs, blankets, and frisbees! Beverages
can be purchased at American Flatbread.
Of course, you probably will want to eat at American
Flatbread that evening because they will be serving a
special chicken flatbread so get there early and get
your name on the list. |
