Wondering how to get those hard-to-find staples of the
Localvore pantry?
We’ll make it easy for you by providing a ready-made
Localvore Starter Kit.
Here’s what the Kit contains:
- 1 lb. Cornmeal (Butterworks Farm, Westfield, VT)
- 1 lb. Whole wheat flour (Gleason Grains, Bridport, VT)
- 1 lb. Wheat berries (Gleason Grains, Bridport, VT)
- 1 lb. Yellow-eye beans (Hazen Bean Company, North Hero,
VT)
- 1 qt. Cider vinegar (Honest to Goodness
Vershire, VT)
- 1 lb. Popping corn (Brigante’s Farm, Colchester, VT)
- 1 c. Sunflower oil (Butterworks Farm, Westfield, VT)
- 1 lb. Rolled oats (Michel Goudreau’s farm, Compton,
Quebec)
All of these highly sought after and hard to find items
are in an organic cotton grocery tote with Localvore
logo. The starter kit makes a great gift- for a friend or treat yourself!
Cost: $25.00
Kits will be available for pick-up the first week of
September--pick up at Yestermorrow Design/Build School
(directions) or at the Farmer’s Market on Saturday,
September 15th.
